The research center currently focuses on the following five research directions:

  1. 1.Intelligent construction of urban disaster scenes caused by earthquakes and climate change;

  2. 2.Intelligent acquisition of information on buildings (groups) and urban infrastructure, and rapid assessment of damage;

  3. 3.Modeling of building (group) and infrastructure engineering systems, resilience assessment, and risk analysis;

  4. 4.Resilience design methods and enhancement technologies for buildings (groups) and urban infrastructure;

  5. 5.Coupling of engineering systems and socio-economic systems, and resilience assessment of urban mega-systems.
